Thanks to a helpful reader, here's a site that you can use to introduce yourself to foreign languages for free. Oddly, just two days ago I mentioned that learning a second language was pretty darn important. Well, now you can do it at your own pace, in your spare time, and oh, did I mention for free? The process is simple. Visit Mango create a login. All this really involves is entering your email address. Once logged in, you choose the language you want to learn. Most of the options are focused on teaching English speakers a different language. However, Polish (I think that's Polish) and Spanish speakers can also learn English here as well.
I chose Japanese.
After making the selection, off it goes in an indexed format so I can come and go as I please and then pick up the lesson at a later time. It also allows you to quiz yourself along the way to ensure your getting it.Here is a partial screenshot:

Like I said, it's free and if you are considering enhancing your linguistics, this is a good place to start for the basics.
